About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead its M&A team in driving strategic growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading business development in collaboration with the executive team, executing an acquisition strategy that aligns with long-term goals, and maintaining a structured approach to evaluating potential acquisitions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and sourcing acquisition targets, as well as the ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders. The Chief Development Officer will also be involved in all aspects of the M&A process, from initial target identification to post-close integration, and must be adept at financial modeling, valuation, and presenting business cases to the Board. Applicants for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum requirement, with an MBA being preferred. A background of at least 10 years in a similar role, encompassing corporate development, private equity, or investment banking, is essential. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in leading M&A transactions, strong financial and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels. The Chief Development Officer will play a critical role in the organization's growth and must be capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
