Job Opportunity

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Perioperative (OR)

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Perioperative unit. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to provide exceptional care within the operating room, specifically focused on women's health.

Facility/Unit Details

• Location: Women & Infants Hospital
• City: Providence, RI
• Unit: Operating Room (Periop)

Schedule

• Shift: Night shifts (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
• Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday shifts are included

Contract Dates

• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• End Date: January 2, 2027

Vaccination Requirements

• Flu vaccination is required
• COVID-19 vaccination is required with no exemptions

Clinical Requirements

• Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to RI)
• BLS certification (AHA) is required
• CNOR certification is preferred (confirmation needed)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OB/Perioperative nursing experience, specifically with C-sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
