THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports oversight of community mental health services by evaluating programs, monitoring contracts, and providing consultation to counties and providers. It involves reviewing information, conducting visits, tracking corrective actions, and communicating findings to support program quality. As a Human Services Program Representative 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Regulatory Guidance: Provide consultation on rules, regulations, and contract components for community mental health services
• Data Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyze information to assess compliance with standards and requirements
• Technical Assistance: Offer support to counties and providers on program performance, productivity, and outcomes
• Communication Duties: Share findings, recommendations, and corrective actions with stakeholders through clear reports and discussions
• Onsite Evaluation: Conduct visits to counties, agencies, and providers to verify compliance and follow up on concerns
• Community Engagement: Participate in meetings, committees, and planning activities to represent program interests and gather community input

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Travel will be required, including overnight stays.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will work on-site at 100 Lackawanna Avenue, Room 321, Scranton, PA 2 days per week, which will include Thursday and one other day of your choosing. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Scranton. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
