About the Position

Physician/Doctor - Internal Medicine

Location: AZ

Schedule: Day shift 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Position Overview

Provide hospital-based internal medicine coverage with a focus on admissions and cross-coverage as part of a multi-physician team.

Key Responsibilities

• Hospital admissions and cross-coverage (excluding ICU cross-coverage as noted)
• Coordinate care with available specialty services
• Document care in the EMR

Clinical Scope Highlights

• Practice setting: Hospital
• EMR: Cerner
• Patient volume: 20-30 patients/day (collective service)

Required Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active AZ license (or IMLC LOQ in hand)
• DEA required
• ACLS required
• Minimum experience: 2 years

Credentialing / Onboarding

• Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks
