Job Summary Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. Department Post Anesthesia Care Unit Shift Detail Three 12-hour shifts per week: 0900-2130. Salary Details Hourly rate is determined by years of work experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within the organization. Minimum rate starting at $34.10, maximum of salary range is $52.90. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) required within three (3) years of hire date. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire. Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications. Med Surg experience preferred. Preferred Education BSN: Bachelor of Science Nursing Required License and Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support/CPR) FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License Phase II Emphasis Phase II, needs strong Med Surg experience.
