About the job Medical Assistant

Joie de Vivre is a well-established medical and aesthetics center offering the latest technologies to improve skin health and treat illness. This private, concierge medical practice is looking for someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to serve as its Medical Assistant. Outstanding customer service is a must for our practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing concierge and aesthetics medical practice.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

triaging and rooming patients
measuring and recording patient vitals in the EMR
administering immunizations/injections
performing EKGs
returning patient calls
managing referrals and prescriptions
obtaining prior authorizations for imaging
obtaining prior authorizations for medication utilizing CoverMyMeds service

Applicants must have:

Medical Assistant Certification, required
Minimum of two years medical practice experience, preferred
Proficient computer and EMR skills
Strong communication skills
Outgoing and friendly personality
Team player
CLIA certification
Ability to multi-task

This position works weekdays only - office hours are:

Monday to Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
