RN Nurse Manager – Rehab and Long-Term Care – Levindale – Baltimore Department: Hall 1 Schedule – Shift, Hours: Full-time, Day shift (8:00am-4:30pm) At Levindale Hospital you’ll lead a tight‑knit team in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment supported by LifeBridge Health. Overview Levindale Hospital blends the close‑knit feel of a post‑acute rehabilitation hospital with the resources of one of Maryland’s largest health systems. This role is ideal for a dynamic nursing leader at the intersection of rehabilitation, geriatric care, and complex medical nursing. Why This Role Stands Out This is a leadership position that shapes outcomes, experiences, and team culture for patients on post‑surgical rehab, stroke, cardiac recovery, and other critical journeys. What You’ll Do Lead from the front – mentor and develop the Assistant Nurse Manager and frontline team while serving as a visible, hands‑on clinical leader. Shape the culture – foster an environment rooted in psychological safety, accountability, and clinical excellence. Drive operations – oversee staffing, workflows, and daily operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and fiscal stewardship. Champion quality & compliance – ensure adherence to Joint Commission, CARF, CMS, and National Patient Safety Goals while leading performance improvement initiatives. Develop your team – coach, evaluate, and elevate RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff, promoting growth and internal mobility. Collaborate across disciplines – partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and families to deliver seamless, patient‑centered care. What You Bring Graduated from a CCNE‑accredited nursing program. ASN required; BSN preferred. 5–7 years of nursing experience in LTC, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation. At least 2 years in a leadership, charge, or supervisory role. Active Maryland RN license. BLS/CPR (American Heart Association). Strong clinical knowledge in geriatric, subacute, rehab, or memory care. What We Offer Competitive compensation and comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
