Our client is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to support execution across the Advanced Data Analytics (“ADA”) portfolio — a fast-moving team delivering data science, machine learning, and AI-powered tools to business lines and corporate functions.

This is not a process-heavy program management role — it requires a PM who thrives in a high-velocity, iterative environment and can bring just enough structure to keep fast-moving teams organized without slowing them down.

This role is focused on day-to-day project management rigor in a product-oriented environment: maintaining a clear view of the portfolio, managing concurrent workstreams from prototype through production, running operating cadence, tracking decisions and actions, and producing reliable status communication. The Project Manager will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and front-office business stakeholders — and must be comfortable operating at the intersection of technical execution and business delivery without being a technical practitioner himself\herself.  

Primary Responsibilities

·         Maintain a consolidated, current view of the ADA portfolio: in-flight products, priorities, statuses, and dependencies

·         Build and manage lightweight but rigorous project plans across multiple concurrent data science and AI product workstreams

·         Track progress through the full delivery lifecycle — from POC and pilot to production — ensuring handoffs, sequencing, and blockers are visible and managed

·         Run standing team and working sessions; track decisions, open items, and follow-ups

·         Maintain RAID logs, proactively surfacing risks, issues, and dependencies before they become problems

·         Escalate blockers early, with clear articulation of impact and options

·         Coordinate across data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to keep work moving and aligned

·         Produce concise, accurate status reporting for senior technical and business stakeholders

·         Support intake and prioritization processes as the team scales its coverage across lines of business

 

Required Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on complex, cross-functional initiatives

·         Proven ability to work in agile or hybrid delivery environments; comfortable with iterative, fast-cycle execution and able to drive progress without relying on waterfall-style SDLC structures

·         Demonstrated hands-on ownership of standard PM artifacts and operating cadence (project plans, RAID logs, status reports, meeting discipline)

·         Experience in fast-paced, product- or delivery-oriented environments where priorities shift and multiple efforts run in parallel

·         Comfort working alongside data scientists, engineers, and other technical practitioners — able to follow technical conversations at a conceptual level, ask good clarifying questions, and translate outputs into clear stakeholder communication — without needing to write or review code

·         Experience supporting data, analytics, or technology product initiatives

·         Experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt register for both technical teams and senior business stakeholders

·         Ability to operate independently with minimal day-to-day direction

 

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

·         Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data science product delivery (e.g., managing a team that built models, automated tools, or AI-powered workflows)
