Schedule: 3x12 Days (0700-1930), every other weekend required (may vary based on unit needs), 4:1 patient ratio, float required as needed

Highlights:

• 32-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializing in comprehensive cardiovascular care and heart failure management
• Continuous EKG and oxygen saturation monitoring via telemetry for adult and geriatric populations
• Epic EMR system (1 year of experience required) and Omnicell medication system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and lift teams
• Holistic nursing care focused on pre/post cardiac interventions, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures
• Trauma Level I facility experience required

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry nursing experience (3 years required for first-time travelers)
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central line care, blood product administration, and wound care
• Experience with post-cardiac catheterization, post-MI care, pacemaker management, and cardiac surgery patients
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must meet distance requirements and complete pre-assignment modules within 48 hours (reimbursable up to 16 hours)
