Behavioral Health Therapist I - Wexford

UPMC's Western Behavioral Health is looking to hire a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist I to join their Adult Mood and Anxiety Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospital Programs team in Wexford. Wexford IOP is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services both in-person and virtually to adults facing a variety of challenges. We support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. This position will work Monday-Friday daylight hours. This role/location provides free parking, opportunities for growth/advancement, clinical supervision for licensure, and additional learning opportunities. Our Behavioral Health Therapist may be eligible for up to $7000 sign on bonus! Responsibilities: Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Completes same-day clinical documentation and provides necessary information for service authorization. Reviews cases and patient condition changes with the supervisor and clinical team. Assesses and updates patient needs and treatment plans. Conducts new patient assessments under supervision and implements treatment models. Provides individual and group therapy, engages families, and educates patients on recovery. Documents all patient interactions and case management activities. Discusses additional service needs with the clinical team and makes referrals as needed. Participates in treatment team meetings to review and update treatment plans. Maintains daily clinical productivity records. Creates comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse needs. Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code) ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR GRADUATE-LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION. One year of clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred. Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination. Must sign a license agreement and be actively working to obtain the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Family Marriage Therapist (LMFT) within 30 months of hire.
