Web Developer (Mid and Sr Level roles)

DescriptionActioNet is looking for an experienced Senior/SME Web Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and content solutions supporting mission-critical marine, aviation, and unmanned systems. This role is responsible for developing modern, user-focused applications that operate across both on-premises and cloud-based environments while collaborating closely with stakeholders, designers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in full-stack web development, user interface design, application integration, and software development best practices. Salary Range: 112,000-206,000Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications and content management solutions supporting marine, aviation, and unmanned systems.Collaborate with customers, users, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using modern web technologies and professional design tools.Create visual, content-rich web experiences that follow established user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.Develop and maintain applications operating in both physical and cloud-based environments.Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services supporting enterprise applications.Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices and organizational coding standards.Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization throughout the software development lifecycle.Generate application, website, and user analytics using custom or commercial reporting tools to support operational decision-making.Support configuration management, version control, software releases, and change management activities.Ensure applications comply with cybersecurity, accessibility, and federal security requirements.Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, design specifications, and user documentation.Support modernization initiatives, cloud migration efforts, and continuous improvement activities.Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on complex development efforts.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications.
