Assistant General Manager - Hampton Inn & Suites Savannah Historic Dist. An Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily hotel operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing? As the Assistant General Manager, you will assist in managing daily hotel operations, focusing on delivering excellent guest experiences and profitability. Your responsibilities include: Leading and managing hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and brand standards. Overseeing sales, marketing initiatives, and responding to guest inquiries and concerns. Serving as multi-department head for Operations, Front Office, and Property Operations. Recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, and evaluating staff; recognizing and rewarding department heads. Ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and compliance with standards. Identifying performance gaps and implementing corrective measures. Maintaining guest and team member satisfaction. Serving as acting General Manager in their absence. What are we looking for?
