This position is responsible for managing and driving the material and information flow processes within projects. Key focus is developing the complete end-to-end supply chain system and being a key contributor on medium to large scale projects. **This candidate will travel approximately 25%. There is no sponsorship for this position.****PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Identifies unexpressed customer needs or customer problems and can identify potential solutions.* Develop material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs.* Lead cross-functional team meetings, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions.* Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on medium to large scale projects.* Design and implement an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables to meet project objectives.* Build reciprocal working relationships with people from across the organization and suppliers.* Communicate new ideas, project status, and results to project team and leadership through organized presentations that promote dialogue and understanding.* Develop new concepts and ideas that reduce overall costs across the supply chain.* Coaches, guides, and trains less experienced staff on technical skills within the functional area.* Able to work as "in-charge" lead for supply chain specific tasks.* Informally provides direction to IT, scheduling, procurement, sourcing, vendors, etc.**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:*** 4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience. 5-10 years of experience preferred* Has considerable versatility in applying specialized technical knowledge in a wide variety of situations.* In-depth knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.* In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping. Well-developed project management skills.* Possesses unique or specific knowledge that is frequently sought out by others.* Strong communication skills through written, verbal, listening, and presentation techniques.* Experience with change management strategies.* Ability to travel 25% as required**PROFIT SHARING:**In 2026 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.
