Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CVORT
American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring NBSTSA certification and prior travel experience.
Position: Hospital CVOR unit position
Shift: Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Work week: Runs Sunday through Saturday
On-call: 2 shifts per week, covering 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM on weekdays and 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on weekends
Requirements:
- BLS certification from the AHA required
- NBSTSA certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of total travel experience required (except for LVNs)
- Minimum 6 months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration, with no significant gaps
- Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in the CVOR specialty without breaks in unit type
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR experience required within the last 6 months
- Must provide copies of required AHA certifications; no pending certifications accepted
- One supervisory-level professional reference required
Additional Information:
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Returning employees or travelers may be considered after a 1-year break
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional requests after consideration
- Candidates must not reside within 100 miles of the facility, except LVNs/LPNs
- Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
