Polysomnographer - SLEEP LABORATORY

This posting is for multiple openings of a Polysomnographer at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA.

We are offering full time/night shift positions.

You will be required to work 3- 12 hour shifts per week!

Under the supervision of the Manager, this position works independently and conducts polysomnographic testing. The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices. Key responsibilities include monitoring polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data and other physiological events.

Required Qualifications:

• California Polysom Technologist License upon hire.
• National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire or
• National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
