Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily functions of the warehouse, ensuring seamless logistics, inventory control, and team management. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and uphold safety standards to support our company's growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment through effective team management and managerial communication.
Implement process improvements using lean management principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed in compliance with OSHA standards.
Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems like AS400; conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
Coordinate logistics with team and manage distribution center operations to meet shipping & receiving deadlines.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, while managing heavy lifting tasks and warehouse safety protocols.
Skills
Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, and warehouse operations management.
Proficiency with inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management software
Skilled in process improvement methodologies like lean management to optimize warehouse workflows.
Strong team leadership abilities with excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff effectively.
Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts and heavy lifting machinery.
Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures.
