About the Position

Job Title: Oncology RN Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) Experience: 2 years RN experience License: RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Current oncology experience Description: This position is for a specialized urgent care clinic exclusively serving current oncology patients. The role involves providing same-day symptom management, treatments, and diagnostics. Patients will not need to go to the emergency room for their care. Key responsibilities include medication review, patient education, and reviewing after-visit summaries. The role requires managing the electronic health record system. The clinic operates 7 days a week, typically from 7 AM to 11 PM, with plans for expanding to 24-hour operations. Conditions treated include pain, fever, nausea, or complications from cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy. Candidates with experience in electronic health records systems and basic life support are preferred. Previous experience in a travel role or emergency department is also a plus.
