Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have Cerner experience and be adept in neonatal and maternity unit procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer blood products, medications, and IV therapies to neonatal and maternal patients.
• Assist with procedures such as circumcisions, cord care, and baby bathing.
• Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions.
• Assess neonatal and maternal patients, monitor vital signs, and manage pain levels.
• Follow infection control protocols and neonatal safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active MO or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or neonatal intensive care.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in neonatal assessments, pain management, and use of PCA and IV pump.
• Experience with complex neonatal care including low birth weight and large for gestational age infants.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
