Job Responsibilities

• Craft Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and design tailored strategies that facilitate their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based methods to enhance motor function, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities for patients
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families through therapy techniques to ensure continual progress outside the clinical environment
• Track Progress and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical advancements and modify treatment plans as necessary, making sure patients remain on track

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Pursuit of continuing education or additional certifications is encouraged and supported

Required Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
