About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-call requirement up to 4 shifts per month | One weekend shift per month required | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
• Collaborate within a nurse-driven surgical team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and charting
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units or sister facilities as required
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in the operating room strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
