Product Specialist

Job Summary In the Product Specialist in Outdoor Cooking role includes product analysis, market research, supplier coordination, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure products meet quality, performance, and customer satisfaction standards. The specialist serves as a key point for item governance, project tracking, and data analysis. Duties and Responsibilities Product Management – 40% Assist in the planning and execution of product development strategies for hard goods. Ensure new products align with market trends, customer demands, and company objectives. Assure project timelines are upheld. Market Research and Analysis – 20% Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities for product development. Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify strengths and improvement areas for existing products. Quality Assurance –10% Collaborate with quality teams to ensure all products meet compliance, safety, and performance standards. Assist in resolving quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Sales and Marketing Support –30% Provide product training and technical support to the sales team. Develop product documentation, including user manuals, specifications, and marketing collateral. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings to promote products. Work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure smooth production and distribution. Qualification Requirements Education Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent field experience preferred. Experience 1 to 3 years of experience in product management, merchandising, or a similar role within the hard goods category. Familiarity with product development cycles and manufacturing processes. Skills Strong knowledge of hard goods materials, trends, and market dynamics. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented. Customer‑focused mindset. Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to quality and performance standards. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborative and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to handle product samples for evaluation and analysis. Willingness to travel to supplier sites, trade shows, or customer locations as needed.
