Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is ideal for a compassionate and clinically skilled nurse who excels in critical care environments and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and educational evaluations.
• Monitor critically ill cardiovascular patients and promptly identify changes in patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery goals.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination activities.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient events.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure continuity of care through effective communication and standardized handoff procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License or valid Compact/Multi-State RN License .
• Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association) .
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to provide culturally competent, patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ).
• Previous CVICU, ICU, Critical Care, or Cardiovascular Nursing experience.
• Experience working in high-acuity hospital environments.
