The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and preparing financial statements and reports. This role will handle accounts payable and receivable, track sale proceeds and expenses for individual estates, and ensure accurate distribution of funds. The Senior Accountant will maintain internal controls, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support management with financial analysis and cash flow monitoring. The role will also involve coordinating with external tax and audit professionals as needed and helping refine accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.QualificationsStrong proficiency in general accounting functions, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management, ideally in a small business or service-based environment.Advanced skills in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., QuickBooks or similar tools, Microsoft Excel) and comfort working with financial data systems.Knowledge of basic tax concepts and compliance requirements relevant to small businesses; experience coordinating with tax professionals is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in Chandler, AZ, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is preferred but not required. xhyhwjd Prior experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role; experience in retail, consignment, estate sales, or related industries is an advantage.
