Forklift Operator- 3rd shift

Forklifts will move up to two units of lumber or completed trusses at a time to the designated areas. An ideal Forklift Driver will be able to safely work in tight areas to ensure the timely movement of product.Duties/Responsibilities:Operates Forklift safely for production including the loading and unloading of materials and finished productsCoordinates with production management for the movement of productsMaintains logs and safety checksWorks with production management to identify changes to processes and procedures, as appropriateUnderstands required grade/quality and inspects finished products for quality standardsUnderstands, observes and promotes all safety policies and proceduresOperates additional equipment related to productionMay assist in training and cross trainingReports production accurately through utilized programsPerforms other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Commercial Forklift experienceMaintains certificationAble to clearly and effectively communicate with team members and production managementIntermediate understanding of technology for operation of electronics for inventory systemProficiency reading and writing in EnglishKnowledge of Spanish preferredBasic knowledge of Microsoft SuitePhysical Demands:Able to consistently lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds90% of work to be performed in an environment subject weather, noise, and dustConsistently moving in and out of forklift including a stepWhy Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
