About the Job Position: Clinical Manager (FT) (LPC/LCSW Preferred) Clinical Manager (LPC/LCSW) Houston, Texas: Circle Of Hope Services Houston is a client-centered organization that assists children and adults in the community with gaining the necessary skills and resources so they can "be their best self" and "live their best life". We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with clinical leadership skills to assist in new client intakes. You will work closely with the Intake Team to execute the vision and mission of Houston Circle Of Hope as we strive to become the leading provider agency in Texas. We are looking for someone who has an unmatched passion for people, positive leadership/mentoring skills, a detail-oriented, solution-oriented mindset, and will ensure that we create and maintain a positive working environment. Someone who is open-minded to learning new and innovative ways of helping people to obtain mental wellness. The LPC/LCSW must have a Master's Degree from an accredited University, a current license from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselor (in good standing), a minimum of two (2) years of professional in a clinical setting, and worked with crisis situations (adult or children), assessed victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or physical abuse, administered evidence-based treatment, and conducted psychosocial assessments. This position's responsibilities and duties include:
- Work under the direction of the Lead Clinical Manager to fulfill the Houston Circle Of Hope mission and guides activities to actualize our mission and vision. Clinical Supervisor will be responsible with overseeing the assigned staff.
- The clinical Supervisor is ultimately responsible for clinical service delivery by providing direct and or indirect oversight to Patients, Case Managers and QMHPs. This includes face-to-face supervision and feedback relative to consumer assessments, admissions, individual service plan development and implementation, individual service plan modification and discharges planning.
- Train Case Managers and QMHP; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching staff members.
- Responsible for the monitoring and completing intakes, therapeutic sessions, enter reassessments into a work database, completing/approving treatment plans, reading/review clinical notes and other duties as assigned.
- The clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing compliance reports to the Lead Clinical Manager.
- Approve daily progress notes in the share note system.
- Monthly Supervision Meetings with staff.
- Conduct School Observations.
- Take sufficient time to make certain supervises are well informed about laws, ethics and agency policies/procedures and re-assesses the need to address these throughout the supervisory relationship.
- Monitor client progress regularly, utilizing a team approach.
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems, meeting with clients and parents, troubleshooting tasks, and managing work for adequate organizational work flow.
- Maintain thorough and detailed records of supervisory relationships.
- Frequently address ethical and legal issues with the supervisee to increase confidence and competence in.
- All applicants must be licensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Psychologist.
- Experience providing services to vulnerable populations.
- Ability to work with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds; be flexible, open-minded, and adaptable to change.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills in interactions with patients, families, physicians, and Circle Of Hope team colleagues.
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in intake and enrollment preferred.
- Professional clinical setting: 2 years (Required).
- Ability to work independently as well as to develop collaborative relationships with schools, families, patients, interdisciplinary teams, and other community agencies.
