Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control in Fontana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location as an Access Control professional. In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while supporting a caring culture, working through teamwork, and acting with integrity in all security-related responsibilities.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification practices, and/or visitor management protocols at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with post orders and client-directed guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, property contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, offices, common areas, and/or perimeter locations to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related procedures.
- Document daily activities, access-related events, and/or incident information in required logs and reports, and assist with badge issuance, visitor sign-in, and other front-entry responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
