Join us and help shape the future of senior living!Position Summary: The Community Relations Director is responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the community by attracting qualified prospects to the community and converting those prospects into residents. Manage and cultivate the sales and marketing plan, leads and database and the move-in process in its entirety.Key Responsibilities:Regularly meets the sales standards as set by the VP of SalesAnswers telephone inquiries, schedules visits, conducts tours and closes sales as per sales and marketing goalsMeets and greets visitors and tours prospectsConsistently uses all Maplewood sales toolsEnsures that the building shows a positive first impression, communicate issues to supervisorEnsures model apartments are well appointed, clean, and neatEnsures qualified leads are entered in YARDICultivate leads and database, including written and oral communicationEnsure use of YARDI within community is timely and accurateEnsures all lead sources are identified in the YARDI systemEnsures inquiry forms are always available at the front desk and provided to all managersWorks with the Executive Director to resolve any community presentation issuesMaintains or grows occupancy to maximum levelsWorks collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the team’s role in sales and participation in the community sales & marketing planMonthly mystery shop results score above 80%Plans and coordinates two lead generating events each monthProactively identifies and pursues publicity opportunitiesCoordinates new resident move-in process with support of management team, including all required paperwork, unit readiness, resident requests and welcome eventMeets monthly budget targets, with any variances to be discussed with the Executive DirectorProvide monthly sales and/or customer service training to concierges and managersAnalyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the community compared to competitors and develops appropriate action steps to effectively sell against the competitionIdentifies primary and secondary markets with appropriate sales strategies and tacticsGathers YARDI reports for analysis and interpretation (to identify solutions)Provide Manager on Duty weekend coverage as scheduledComplete competitive market analysis data and maintains a detailed competitor comparative analysis (including rates, apartment sizes, services, and amenities) in February & AugustEducation/Experience/Licensure/CertificationExcellent customer service and public relations skillsCheerful personalityKeen desire to serve seniorsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeFive years sales/marketing experience with a proven track recordStrong proven ability to problem solve in a quick and efficient mannerCreative approach to goals and problemsExperience working with seniorsDemonstrates proficiency in:Microsoft Office SuiteYARDI or other CRMProven record of identifying and developing professional referral sourcesWhy You'll Love working for Us: Innovative Culture: We are a group of smart, forward-thinking and compassionate pros dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents through service excellence, creative and meaningful programs and continuous innovation.HEART: We recognize Humor, Empathy, Autonomy, Respect and Trust as core values that guide our work.Growth Opportunities: We promote and foster career development and continuous learning.Work-Life Balance: We value autonomy, flexibility and a family-friendly supportive workplace.Competitive Comp and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, bonus, health insurance, 401K with match, paid time off, and more.
