RN - PCU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have Previous telemetry experienceExperience with IV insulin protocols and insulin dripsStrong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Description Shift: Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The schedule includes every other weekend.The position requires a minimum of two years of RN experience and current acute care experience.Candidates must have experience in telemetry and with IV insulin protocols.Skills in cardiac monitoring and interpreting dysrhythmias are essential.Floating to different units may be required as needed.Weekend coverage is not required, but candidates may need to cover shifts.A total of 32 hours of orientation is expected before beginning employment.Candidates should be prepared to comply with credibility and credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting.References are required from a manager or supervisor.Education must be from an accredited nursing program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
