Outpatient Breast Surgery Advanced Practice Provider - MedStar Franklin Square Hospital

We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Breast Surgery team at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Belair Clinic. Our advanced practice providers and breast surgeons treat a wide range of patients with breast cancer, breast disease, and patients at high risk for breast cancer. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we partner with colleagues from medical oncology, radiation oncology, rehabilitation, imaging, dietitians, and social work to develop highly individualized care plans that treat the whole patient. This approach provides patients with high‑quality care that is unmatched in our service area. The APP will work with our surgeon to provide early diagnostic care, pre‑op education, post‑op care, and long‑term follow‑up for the Breast Surgery program. Responsibilities include supporting the surgeon in the outpatient setting, establishing an own clinic to see high‑risk patients, managing post‑op care and follow‑up visits, and performing office procedures such as aspirations and I&D. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays or weekends. Occasionally, meetings begin at 7:30 am, generally not more than once every two‑three months. Breast surgery or breast health experience is preferred but not required. New grads are welcome to apply.
