Occupational Therapist

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Profession: Occupational Therapy Specialty: Inpatient Behavioral Health

Duration: 7 weeks

Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a behavioral therapy setting

License: Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice

Certifications: Active BLS Certification

Must-Have: Experience with cognitive testing methods including SLUMS, MoCA, and CPT Familiarity with EPIC charting system Ability to conduct group therapy sessions and individual 1:1 sessions Strong skills in communication, active listening, and activity analysis/adaption Flexibility in approach and psychological knowledge

Description: Prepare and lead at least 2 structured group therapy sessions each day. Provide individual 1:1 therapy sessions as needed. Conduct cognitive testing when ordered, utilizing methods such as MoCA, SLUMS, and CPT. Demonstrate proficiency in group therapy techniques. Ensure strong communication and active listening with patients. Implement activity analysis and adaptation as required. Maintain compliance with BLS certification requirements.
