Senior Software Engineer (C++)

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C++) to join their high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer with a strong background in low latency systems and electronic trading environments. This is a fully remote position. Senior Software Engineer (C++)'s Responsibilities and Duties: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications within low latency trading environments Build and support electronic trading systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance Work with FIX Protocol integrations, including order routing and connectivity solutions Develop and support market data applications utilizing proprietary and SIP feeds Enhance post-trade handling and processing workflows Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems and trading infrastructure Senior Software Engineer (C++)'s Qualifications and Skills: At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C++ Experience developing within low latency or high-performance environments Strong understanding of electronic trading systems and workflows Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol, market data feeds, and post-trade processing Linux systems experience, including development and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment Financial services or trading industry experience strongly preferred RightClick is an equal opportunity employer who agrees not to discriminate against any employee or job applicant irrespective of race, color, creed, alienage, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender (including gender identity), marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship or any other characteristic protected by law.
