Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - General/Other. Location: Bethesda, MD. Employer: Aya Locums. Pay: $90 to $105 per hour. Shift: 5 days × 8 hours. Contract Duration: 26 weeks. Start Date: 5/25/2026. Position: Physician Assistant. Specialty: Radiology. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. Conduct patient histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Develop and implement treatment plans. Prescribe medications. Perform procedures as authorized by state regulations and the supervising physician. Educate and counsel patients on preventative care and health management. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Document medical records accurately and thoroughly. Stay current on advancements in medicine through continuing education. Skills Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills in a specific area of medicine. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team. Proficiency in performing relevant physical examinations and procedures. Critical thinking and decision‑making skills to develop and implement treatment plans. Minimum Education Requirements Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program. License & Certifications Active and unencumbered PA license in Maryland. National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Experience Most locum PA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of clinical experience in their area of specialty.
