Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus I'm partnered with a top electrical contractor in the C&I Solar space to help find a skilled Estimator/Procurement Specialist for their growing team. They have been consistently named as one of Ohio's top solar contractors for the past 40+ years. This company is known for its quality-driven approach, long-standing relationships, and its status as an employee-owned firm. With projects ranging from $300K to $3M and a strong backlog, this is a stable and rewarding opportunity. Job Duties: Interpret construction drawings and scope notes to develop accurate cost and labor hour estimates. Input finalized bids into project management software and support handoff to field teams. Estimate 25–40 projects per year in the commercial/industrial electrical space. Procurement Evaluate suppliers, products, and services to ensure cost-efficiency and code compliance (e.g., UL Listed, weather-rated). Manage purchasing logistics from submittal to delivery, including inventory control, rental equipment orders, and cut sheet organization. Issue 700+ purchase orders annually across 15–20 jobs, coordinating closely with field crews to meet delivery timelines and project needs. Requirements: Strong understanding of electrical construction practices (commercial/industrial). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs. Experience coordinating procurement for active job sites. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, communication tools (email, phone/text), and web-based purchasing. Bonus: Project management software and medium voltage experience.
