The position leads AV-related projects, drives technology improvements and automation, ensures system reliability and compliance, and provides technical expertise and exceptional customer service across the organization.In this role you will:Manage all Audio / Video Equipment for Conference Rooms, Training Rooms, and Digital signage throughout GM FinancialCreate and maintain Conference Room and Training Room experiences with room automation technologies such as Creston and othersDeploy and Maintain Digital Signage Infrastructure throughout GM FinancialProvide internal and external customers with excellent customer service while striving to provide world-class serviceEffectively communicates current status of all projects, problems, and issues to the department ITS Facilities AVPProactively identifies opportunities for improvements to existing processes and for automation of time consuming tasksManage projects and provide vision and technical direction to oversee and ensure prompt completion of projectsProvide design support and consultation for departmental and enterprise projectsAttend departmental, project and general meetings and effectively represent current status as appropriateManage operational support of corporate, branch, and service center operationsEnsure that all systems are running at optimal capacityStudy and analyze the performance and capacities of the systems and prepare plans for future expansion and upgradesProcure hardware and software consistent with the company's requirements and following all appropriate processesParticipate in company provided training and perform independent training as appropriateConduct audit compliance assessments and initiate corrective actionResolve incident management tickets as they arise and ensure timely resolutionEvaluate, perform, and delegate system administrative functions as appropriateEvaluate and install system patches and system updates as directedPerform critical system changes after business hoursAdhere to all company authored policy, procedure and standards documentsAuthor policy, procedure and standards documents based on industry best practices and personal research and experienceCollaborate with the department ITS Facilities AVP to develop and maintain professional network and business relationships with vendors, peer organizations, and other business contactsProvide technical and operational support in all technology areasAssist with new technology research in order to stay abreast of the latest developments in technology, trends, and knowledge, and legislationAssist with making changes to system platform designs as neededDevelopment of goals, objectives, and unit work plans in coordination with the IT strategic planning processDetermining the direction and enhancement of the AV systems to meet the needs of the organizationIdentify and evaluate third party vendors, technology, or processes for integration with GM Financials technology and equipmentDirect selected product research and support other technology and evaluation projectsParticipate in an on-call support rotation for providing after-hours supportAbout the organization[PLACEHOLDER]About the company[PlaceHolder]
