Work Environment

This full-time position is conducted onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in West McLean, VA, where our team collaborates to deliver personalized care in a supportive and motivating environment. The work schedule will primarily be from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. As part of our interdisciplinary approach, you will work alongside fellow healthcare professionals, allowing for integrated treatment models that enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individual treatment plans based on each patient’s unique needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using a diverse range of treatment modalities and techniques.
• Implement and monitor progress in evidence-based care strategies and engage in ongoing patient evaluations to modify treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients on their treatment techniques, emphasizing the importance of compliance and active participation in their recovery process.
• Utilize active listening and empathy to motivate patients through their recovery journeys while addressing any emotional or physical barriers they may face.
• Maintain precise documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes through our EMR system, preferably WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, sharing insights and recommendations to enhance holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with an outpatient population, including athletes, individuals recovering from surgery, and those managing chronic pain, injuries, or mobility impairments. Your ability to identify specific patient needs and customize rehabilitation strategies will be crucial in delivering effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia (VA) without history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency with various manual therapy techniques and exercise programming tailored to patient needs.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, ideally with a focus on sports rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement successful fitness and wellness programs.
• Previous experience working collaboratively with other professionals in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
