This includes mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairs, and roadside assistance for commercial and light-duty vehicles. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent service, technical accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Deliver top-tier service to customers through timely follow-ups, issue resolution, and proactive communication.Perform all tire-related services (mounting, dismounting, fleet checks, pressure adjustments, and repairs) on-site or at customer locations.Respond to after-hours and on-call roadside service requests as scheduled.Conduct daily vehicle inspections, operate company vehicles, and maintain compliance with DOT and ELD requirements.Operate tools and equipment such as impact guns, air compressors, hub-cap hammers, and boom trucks safely and effectively.Ability to look up fluid volumes for tire size.Accurately complete work orders, service tickets, and invoices, while verifying customer credit and making necessary billing adjustments.Assist in inventory management by using company software systems (e.g., Toolbox, Basys) including scanning, transferring, and returning items.Initiates purchase orders for parts, assists with updating information on the computer and maintains records/files for follow-up.Document fleet inspections, casing write-ups, barcode scanning, and all account-required images or forms.Maintain vehicle appearance, safety materials, and fuel receipts for company processing.Ensure lug nuts are tightened to proper torque specifications.Match tire sets correctly, ensuring proper placement and wear alignment.Other duties as assigned.Competencies and Skills:Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsEffective verbal and written communicationProficiency with basic computer tools and softwareAbility to work independently and within a teamQualifications - Required:Valid driver's license with insurable driving recordMinimum age requirement: 18 years.DOT Driver Qualification file (q-file) and Medical CertificationTIA CertificationHigh School Diploma or GED (preferred)Essential Physical & Environmental Functions:Physical Demands:Standing: 80% | Walking: 70% | Sitting: 5%Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and walking on uneven surfacesFrequent lifting/carrying: up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting over 100 lbsFrequent use of hands and fingers for grasping and dexterityConstant visual, auditory, and verbal communication requiredWork Environment:Frequent exposure to noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditionsOccasional work in extreme heat/cold or wet/humid environmentsOccasional shift work and extended days may be requiredOccasional hazards due to mechanical equipment, moving objects, and roadside workEquipment Operated:Company service vehicles and boom trucksTire machines, compressors, air tools and hand toolsCompany-provided software and system for work orders and inventoryRequired to use protective gear (PPE)Compliance & Acknowledgment - This position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
