California Licensed Patient Care Advocate

To support a growing telehealth service, the part-time California Licensed Patient Care Advocate will manage patient inquiries, troubleshoot concerns, and track care journeys remotely on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11:00am to 7:00pm PT. Key responsibilities Answer patient questions regarding treatment, logistics, and next steps Troubleshoot patient concerns related to shipping, refunds, scheduling, and care coordination Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR while adhering to HIPAA and privacy standards Required qualifications Healthcare background (MA, PCA, CNA, or similar clinical or patient-facing role) with 1+ years of experience in abortion care Comfort working across both in-clinic and remote environments Strong triage skills with the ability to make sound decisions in real time Exceptional communication skills to provide empathetic guidance to patients Experience providing trauma-informed care and navigating sensitive health issues
