Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech or Certified Surgical Technologist. (Client requires at least 3 years OR experience.)
• Experience preparing and maintaining the sterile field, setting up instruments and supplies, assisting surgeons by passing instruments, and ensuring accountability of surgical tools.
• Experience supporting a 6-operating-room unit or similar OR volume preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience across a broad range of surgical services including gynecology, urology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, general surgery, and select vascular cases.

• Shift Hours: 0700-1530.
• Shift Days: Days.
