Project Manager For Security Operations TeamThe Project Manager for the Security Operations Team collaborates with various stakeholders to deliver and coordinate security projects. They are responsible for defining project goals, objectives, scope, and requirements with the security operations team and relevant stakeholders. They work with the security operations team to develop and implement statewide security strategy. They build and maintain strong working relationships with department heads, technical teams, and end-users. They are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation. They oversee the execution of security projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, security standards, and regulatory requirements. They are expected to execute action plans for several projects including enterprise vulnerability assessment solution, rollout of Tanium and Varonis to all workstations and servers. They work with Documentation Working Group to track progress, provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback for continuous improvement. They conduct weekly status meetings with the team to review progress, discuss challenges, and adjust the project plan as needed. They participate in brainstorming sessions with the security team to discuss innovative ideas for enhancing cybersecurity posture. This role does not include direct supervision to direct reports. Work hours are primarily between 8AM-4:30PM in a hybrid work environment. The role has a direct effect and impact on the Indiana Office of Technology (IOT) and other agencies' ability to protect confidential citizen information. The role requires excellent motivational aptitude, positive approach, exemplary professionalism skills, and exceptional customer service. Physical effort includes sitting for extended periods of time. Work is performed in a standard office environment.
