Traveling Hotel Cook

Pay: $26.00/hour

Hospitality Services Group is hiring experienced Cooks for a travel hotel assignment in Chicago.

This is not a local position . You'll travel to Chicago, live and work there for the duration of the assignment, and travel and housing are provided . When you're off the clock, spend your days off exploring Chicago and enjoying your new city!

 

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes

• Work grill, sauté, fry, prep, or other assigned stations

• Set up and maintain a clean, organized station

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

• Maintain proper food temperatures

• Support hotel and banquet culinary operations as needed

 

What We're Looking For

• Professional cooking experience required

• Hotel, banquet, restaurant, or high-volume experience preferred

• Strong culinary and knife skills

• Able to step into a new kitchen and learn quickly

• Flexible with schedules, weekends, and holidays

• Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for the full assignment
