Do you have prior experience with forklift and warehouse work along with your Class A or B CDL? We are now hiring for a Backup Driver/Warehouse Worker in Eau Claire, WI.

POSITION – Backup CDL Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (5am start time, Mon-Fri)

STARTING PAY – $24/hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – One to two years related work experience or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience, valid Class A or B CDL and valid Fed Med card required, plus a clean driving record.

You will primarily be working in the warehouse unless a main driver is off work, then you will be acting as the backup driver.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver products to and recover products from shops and job sites.

• Receive, verify, and stock all incoming product from vendors.

• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipping.

• Load trucks for delivery of product direct to customer.

• Ensure that warehouse is kept organized, secure, safe, and clean.

• Observe all safety procedures.

• Interact with customers at time of delivery.

• Help load and unload product.

• Perform daily inspection of truck.

• Maintain driving records on an Electronic Logging Device.

• Perform warehouse duties when not driving for day.

Qualifications :

• Valid Class B driver’s license and current Fed Med Card

• Clear driving record

• Plumbing and/or heating knowledge a plus

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Warehouse atmosphere. Employee be exposed to moving machinery, vibration, fumes, airborne particles and the noise level is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
