Bring your dedication and expertise to a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher working with elementary students in the vibrant Nashville, TN area. Two positions are available for passionate educators ready to make a meaningful impact within an inclusive elementary setting, utilizing a combination of inclusion, push-in, and pull-out instructional models.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
- Experience supporting elementary-age students, preferably in inclusive or resource settings
- Strong skills in differentiated instruction and classroom management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities
Position Details:
- Start date: Immediate placement available
- End date: December 19th
- Schedule: 5 days per week, up to 37.5 hours weekly
- Student Population: Elementary-aged, diverse learning needs
- Instructional Delivery: Inclusion, push-in, and pull-out services within a supportive team environment
- Compensation aligned with experience, ranging from $35-40 per hour, paid weekly
