Clinical Support And Patient Care Specialist

Provides clinical support and patient care in a multi-specialty healthcare setting. Performs vital signs, chart preparation, and point-of-care testing to facilitate patient visits and clinical workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and take vital signs to ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Prepare patient charts and gather necessary medical information prior to examinations.
• Perform point-of-care testing such as urine analysis, flu/strep tests, blood glucose, and other rapid diagnostics.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient flow and clinical procedures.
• Adhere to practice protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including timely completion of required trainings.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) credential preferred.
• Prior experience in a multi-specialty clinic is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of clinical protocols and patient care procedures.
• Ability to operate EMR systems and perform point-of-care testing accurately.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early morning shifts.
