Occupational Medicine Physician

Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is looking to add a physician to our busy Occupational Medicine Department at our Midtown Clinic in Sacramento, CA. MMG Occupational Medicine treats work-related injuries such as lacerations, multiple body strains, fractures, acute eye injuries, and foreign bodies. We also provide pre-employment physical examinations, DOT and Hazmat physical examinations, physician-certified MRO services for employment drug testing, onsite audiometry and pulmonary function testing, mask-fit testing, fit-for-duty examinations, and employer-requested recommendations on ergonomics and chemical exposures. MMG Occupational Medicine provides evidence-based medical treatment in a timely and effective manner while remaining cost effective to ensure prompt return to work and closure of cases. We are recognized as a “Preferred Provider” by the majority of worker-compensation insurance carriers for the quality care and service we consistently provide.
