As a Security Officer in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access-control and reporting activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.43 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense business location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted-access areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while supporting emergency response activities as appropriate. Minimum Requirements: Possess an active DoD Secret clearance. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
