Exciting Night Shift Emergency Room RN Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic Emergency Room team working Night Shift: 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15).
- Benefit from weekend coverage, providing vital care every other weekend based on organizational needs.
- Utilize the Omnicell medication system for efficient medication management.
- Document patient care using the EPIC documentation system.
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience is mandatory.
- Required Certificates:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- CPI
- PALS
- TN RN License
- Preferred Certificate: TNCC.
- At least 1 year of Emergency Room experience is essential.
- Charge experience preferred.
- Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in handling emergencies such as abdominal pain, asthma, head injury, and more.
- Experience with critical care procedures:
- Arterial line management
- Chest tube insertion
- Intubation
- IV vasopressors
- Capable of managing mental/behavioral health conditions and performing triage.
- Must be comfortable floating to other units as required by patient care needs.

Unit Details:


- Vibrant team dedicated to high-quality patient care.
- Work within a supportive environment, interacting with Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy.
- Experience diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Average daily census: 130 patients with a variety of acute diagnoses.

- Orientation: 36 hours with weekly starts every Monday.
- Commitment to safety with no COVID-19 vaccine required.
- Required flu vaccine with no exemptions.
