Material Handler – Production Support & Shipping

Material Handler Overview: This role is responsible for supporting production operations and maintaining efficient material flow throughout the facility. Qualified candidates will ensure press operations remain productive by removing finished product, staging materials, and preparing dies and work-in-process for upcoming jobs. This position also supports shipping and receiving functions, including packing, labeling, and staging finished goods for shipment. Occasional loading and unloading of trucks is required. Material Handler Pay: $22.50/hour (Brooklyn Park MN)

Material Handler Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4 pm to 2:30 am

Material Handler Key Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift operation or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance
• Lift up to 35 lbs repetitively
• Frequent standing and walking
• Use of material handling equipment

Material Handler Key Responsibilities:

• Move finished pallets away from presses to maintain continuous production flow
• Stage raw materials and work-in-process for upcoming jobs
• Assist with die staging and preparation for setup operators
• Maintain clean, organized press aisles and work areas
• Transport materials between departments
• Ensure pallets and WIP are properly labeled
• Respond to production needs to minimize downtime
• Stage completed product according to shipping schedules
• Pack product per customer and company requirements
• Label, palletize, band, and wrap finished goods
• Verify counts and ensure order accuracy
• Prepare product for outside processing
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks
• Receive and verify incoming materials
• Inspect shipments for damage and accuracy
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Process ERP transactions
• Follow safety procedures
• Maintain clean work area
• Participate in CI activities
• Report issues impacting safety or quality
