About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and hands-on Part-Time Warehouse & Stockroom Associate to help keep our Charlestown location organized and running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible part-time work and who enjoys staying active and working independently. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable with physical work, and able to adjust their schedule when deliveries or other warehouse needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload deliveries, including FedEx and other shipments.
• Be available to receive and monitor deliveries when scheduled.
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory in the warehouse/stockroom.
• Move, lift, and organize boxes, supplies, equipment, and other materials.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Help with loading and unloading materials.
• Locate and retrieve inventory as needed.
• Check incoming shipments for accuracy and report any damaged or missing items.
• Break down boxes and maintain an orderly work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management regarding deliveries, inventory, and warehouse needs.
• Follow basic safety procedures and handle materials carefully.

• Extremely reliable and dependable — showing up when scheduled is essential.
• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Able to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying throughout the workday.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with a flexible schedule and occasional changes based on delivery needs.
• Able to work around delivery schedules, including FedEx and other carriers.
• Good communication skills.
• Local to Charlestown / Boston and able to reliably get to the job site.
• Previous warehouse, stockroom, delivery, inventory, retail, moving, or similar experience is a plus, but reliability and a strong work ethic are more important than having extensive experience.

Hours

Part-time hours with a flexible schedule. The exact schedule can be discussed based on the candidate's availability and the needs of the warehouse.

Because deliveries can vary, the ability to occasionally adjust your schedule or be available during delivery windows is important.
