Event Staff

Principal Job Duties Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service. Understand surroundings and event details to answer questions. Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer. Expedite traffic flow in a timely fashion. Adhere to dress code and be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and continuously stand for extended periods of time (3‑6 hours). Follow all safety standards. Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors. Answer customer service questions concerning parking and provide general customer inquiries in a courteous, professional, and effective manner; refer questions to supervisor when applicable. Take direction from Managers, Supervisors, and emergency responders during emergencies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Experience 1+ years in a customer service role. Parking industry experience is preferred but not required. Previous experience working in outdoor/ extreme weather conditions preferred. Skills Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Must be able to work unsupervised. Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. Must be able to work standing up/on feet for extended periods of time. Physical Demands Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 15 pounds. Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
