Maintenance

Job TitleDuties and Responsibilities:This position consists of repairing and maintaining all recycling facility equipment (this includes heavy mobile equipment, conveyors, ballers, shredders, etc.), installing new equipment, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and industrial recycling equipment to minimize downtime and make improvements.Responsible for maintaining the Sennebogen and caterpillar machine handlers.Perform repair work on systems including hydraulics, electronic/electrical systems, mechanical repairs, basic fabrication, preventive maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.Complete work orders and keep detailed notes of repairs performed.Identify necessary parts for repairs.Use computers/internet to research and source part/equipment replacements.Work in multiple positions, including but not limited to kneeling, bending, crouching, elevated in lifts, for extended durations.Observe all safety requirements and lead by example in working safely.Ability to give and receive constructive feedback for coaching.Ability to work various shifts if needed.Other duties as assigned or directed by maintenance and operations management team.Qualifications:A minimum of 3 – 5 years of verifiable experience related to industrial troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment or in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.Balances team and individual responsibilities.
